In the third quarter of 2024, the top travel and local apps on Android in Algeria showcased varying performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Google Earth maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 13K and 18K. Active user numbers, however, saw a gradual decline from around 167K at the start of July to approximately 151K by the end of September.

MAHATATI experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at about 15K in mid-August before settling to around 9K by the end of the quarter. Active users reflected this trend, reaching over 66K in mid-September, before tapering off to about 56K.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel started strong with weekly downloads around 11K in early July but saw a decrease to approximately 5.4K by mid-September. The app's active user base similarly declined, beginning at over 104K and ending the quarter at roughly 74K.
